Saban will always get some good recruits. He will always coach up a good team. Winning in today's SEC is a lot different then when he was here at LSU. I'm happy for how strong the SEC is because it means we all get to enjoy the best college football in the country every year. Now let the games begin. I expect the increased level of competition in the SEC during the next 5 years to be unprecedented.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The level of competition in the SEC has skyrocketed over the last five years. High profile coaches have come in and it's not just at your "traditional" top programs. The fans are going to be the ones that benefit the most because the qaulity of play on the field will get better.

He will coach a good team, not so sure about the coach up part though. He has always been much better at recruiting than coaching. Look at his records when he was here and also last year at Bama. He pulled in a great class this year, no doubt about that though.

Mostly, though, Saban looks good in that hat and sweater vest thingy. I doubt Ohio State can compete anymore until Jim Tressel starts wearing a Panama Jack straw hat. Saban has him running scared. Oh, and the tan. And the perfect hair. If Terrell Pryor had only seen Saban in that hat and vest, Bama would have had him too. Smokin'.

You can substitute any school for LSU here. Nobody understands you guys. Most fans understand they need to be currently winning, in order to crow at their conference rivals. Give it a shot next year. Maybe people will start to respect you.
