My brother and nephew drove up from their home in Austin to see Seastrunk play earlier tonight. Wearing purple-n-gold, of course, they approached Seastrunk after the game. According to my brother, Lache see's them and is excited, his first words are "My hometown!" Judging from the conversation they had with Lache and a few others at the game, I just don't see him anywhere else but LSU.

I agree but I wouldn't over-look the current commits we have (a few listed as ATH may surprise) but when you can get a caliber player like Lache, I'm with you.
No doubt he's had nice things to say about Auburn due to their early success running the football but I hope the "he's LSU's to lose" are true.

Seastrunk Aunt post on a few Message Boards (Texas, LSU's and Auburn's). She does not give one hint on where Seastrunk is going, but she does say that he has family near Baton Rouge and she see's him wearing an LSU shirt a lot.
A lot of the Posters try to get it out of the Aunt on where Seastrunk is leaning. But all she says it is up to Lanche to say where he is going. She does not want to kill Seastrunk joy in how the three teams are recruiting him. This is what I think how the three teams stack up. 1. LSU = recruiting him hard and has family near Baton Rouge. Likes the Coaching Staff a lot, gets a long with Coach Miles very well. His Mother likes the Cox Comm. Center. 2. Auburn = recruiting him hard but with no family in Alabama. Likes the Coaching Staff. 3. Texas = was first but Texas got a pretty good RB commited this year, and they kind of drop the ball on Seastrunk and has not been recruiting him as hard as they did at the begainning of the recruiting year. Out of the three Coaching Staffs He likes Texas the least. Now this is only my opinion on what I have been reading on the Texas, LSU and Auburn Message Boards. ![]() Last edited by LSUFan1950; 09-29-2009 at 08:01 AM.. |

No need to get testy, pal. You did it twice so I just asked. I didn't know if I was missing something. Go take a nap and maybe you'll feel better.

Good read on him being selected for the Army game.
TDTNews.com - Temple Daily Telegram FYI, the Bama Scout moderator, Andrew Boone, has also said he would be surprised if Lache went anywhere but LSU.

bone, may write like he represents bama scout, but Auburn fans are often reminded he is: By Andrew Bone Asst. Regional Manager and we cannot speak ill of him. Even on an AU site. I guess I will find out if I can speak ill of him on an LSU site. It is purely coincidental that his articles have a bama slant. The fact that his Sanders de-commitment article was one of his shortest in history and was immediately followed up by an article describing how strongly Grant of Opelika was in the bama camp was pure happenstance. Not saying Lache is or isn't LSU bound. Just saying that if AU has a role or a chance, bone will certainly paint it in the dimmest light possible.

You're like the first poster ever to misspell the beloved city of Baton Rouge. I found it as extremely odd as he did. Maybe he thought you were making fun by implying Baton Rouge is a "rough" city. Something like that.

Can't wait to hear how Lache likes the granola eating tree huggers. Nice weather forecast for tomorrow though, no rain.

Well he actually did do an interview but a bland one.
Most interesting tidbit from the article is that he will have a decision closer to NSD. That must mean he is not expected to have all the courses to graduate in December. Quote:

Eventually this is gonna jump up and bite us. Miles is gaining a reputation for not playing freshmen even when the situation may warrant it. The passing game was terrible yet our 5 star qb and 5 star receiver saw no PT.

They are all pretty adamant on the Barner board that Seastrunk and Reed are Auburn locks and were only at the LSU game last week to recruit other athletes to Auburn!
![]() LSU is out, Texas is out, it's all Auburn they say . . . ![]()
