We usually do expiring re-directs. It helps users avoid confusion. Otherwise we get 9999999 pm's from users wondering why the thread was deleted. Especially a thread that is extremely active.

Although one time at band camp, a poster on here got a thread moved by me and then he just posted the same exact thread asking where his other thread had gone. I still did a redirect without leaving a trail.

or you can use expiring redirect so people/the op know where the thread went and after a period of time the redirect is gone (after serving its purpose) to avoid clutter.

i have done none, expiring, or permanent, redirect. depends on the thread.

but back to grads point, which is spot on, its a petty thing to get panties twisted about, and an even pettier thing to be rude about when given a reason, just because "you" dont like it. the behavior was completely uncalled for.

I was just wondering has anyone given a lot of thought on having a crimson mod?

Think for a moment how this could have a new and different perspective on even old topics. Instead of an endless debate over emotionally charged issues, I would be able to calmly be the voice of reason restoring friendships and helping all to see what's really coming next.

Once these rival fans know we have a mod of a different color they'll see there's no need to hide behind senseless and misleading handles. No, just be yourself and I promise you'll get the best Purple Nation can deliver.

There are obviously many questions about everything Alabama on this board I would be able to put these myths and sincere misconceptions to rest once and for all. Phrases like Gump and Bammer would be replaced with Bama, Champs, Mr. Tusk. Can you see where I'm going with this?

The one I was in was a toxic waste dump of gigantic proportions. Not only did I have to grab a shower but felt compelled to get a tetanus shot.
