Kyle Busch is a punk. If he really wanted to share a trophy with his teamates he can easily afford to buy them all replica guitars. I would love to see him beaten out for the Sprint Cup by Tony Stewart or Mark Martin in the last race at Homestead

So who digs them some road course racin? I am a RC junkie, but only with stock cars. I NEVER cared much for open wheel, cept world of outlaws.
Sonoma is in high gear and geaux figure, Brian Vickers got him a RC pole. None of us pickers had a clue and with his time in practice, he looks to close in on a good weekend. Ringers not too good but MY BOY, Boris Said sittin 9th. My only fear is will his equipment geaux the distance...JPM lookin tight with a mid pack start, outside Harvick ( ...but here is the deal, FUEL??? Who gonna finish, who aint??? I am gonna get extra phuckerd up and enjoy this show. ![]() aint doin too hot. lately.. Great days we livin here Tiger fans, great days. ![]() ![]() |

I think it would be great fun to drive on a road course but I really can't get into watching. There is a lot less passing and very little opportunity for side by side tradin' paint racin'. My favorite tracks are the short tracks like Bristol and I love the plate races at Daytona and Talledega. Having said that I still think that if road courses are going to a part of the Chase then they should be one race in the final 10 for the Cup.

I like road courses mostly for the mechanics of the race. You have to set up a car for all aspects of the track, not just 4 corners. Granted there are only a few places to pass but it takes the entire course to set up for that pass. It is nothing to find yourself in the kitty litter. |

A bizarre oversight on this weeks line-up involves that of the 55 car. I checked the entry names at the beginning of the week and Waltrip was listed for the 55. Turns out Patrick Carpentier is in the 55 at Sonoma this week. Last practice has him the 3rd fastest car on the day. I think we all missed the boat on that ride. Had I known he was wheelin the 55, he would have been a shoe in for my 8 picks. Bummer. I now hope he crashes that thing, twice.

David Regan is spawn of satan himself. Mother ef'er sob in the words of that dude on "Stipes" "son of bit*ch .. sh8t" My boy had a nice run going until that little bastard had to lose control of his ride. On a side note, much props to the big eared fag for running into the back of the 77 and then spinning out himself. Its always a good day when shrub doesn't win, place or show. That is all.

BS'n and rumors from the garage;
It is looking pretty solid for Truex Jr. to head on over to Michael Waltrip Racing to take over the 55. It is expected to be announced by August. Will Earnhardt Ganassi Racing geaux to the yota's? I called it before Ganassi did the merge and the rumors are hot, specially after knowing that Truex Jr. is heading for greener pastures. I think this will happen. Can you Imagine the Earnhardt name associated with Toyota? That thought gets a wow... Rumors are swirling that Kasey Kahne may be driving a Toyota FOR the King NLT the July Chicago race. The King denied however he did pose the question to the organization as to whether a race shop can run two different manufactures in the same joint, Hmmmm... Mayfield denies taking drugs, geaux figure. A college fund is being established for David Poole's grandson. I think this is the coolest thing ever. If you wanna pony up, shoot me a PM for details. *BREAKING NEWS* Despite all efforts to furnish the 88 car with the finest equipment and personnel it is discovered that Dale Earnhardt Jr. is really just an average driver at best. That is all |

OK, try this on;
The number 3 Chevy last driven by the Intimidator himself at Talladega (his last win) will roll out driven by his youngest daughter Taylor at the 09 Goodwill Festival in New England in demonstration runs. NASCAR.COM - No. 3 Chevrolet to be part of '09 Goodwood Festival - Jun 29, 2009 The car will be cared for by then team members, now respectfully with Ganassi/ Earnhardt and RCR. This car is being pulled out of the RCR museum for the event. Despite this event being in New England, on a road course, I like it. I think the old man would approve but I don't think Jr. is gonna be there. Congrats to Jr. for a decent run this weekend, despite a couple of fuel stratagist up front at the end, he ran top 10 all day. There is hope there yet. Maybe next year. . . |

More BS'n and follies from the garage:
Jeremy Mayfield reinstated by a judge but misses deadline to post his entry. Owners are kind of stand offish so we get to wait for his return. Dude spends an awful amount of time in court over his career. Now he is being sued by a partner for 80 large in parts so this dude will hafta finish the season just to pay his way out of debt. It's just Gotta suck... This weekend marks the first time for the double file restart at a plate track. What makes this different is the leader gets to choose his lane and so, that choice is dictated by who he wants to push or versa, who he does not want the other guy being pushed by. Single files of the past were boring, specially for the plate tracks, now with double file, at Daytona, seems lagging cars will have that jump when the race gets down to the last few laps. Should be a fun event to watch. 25 Drivers are pooled for entries into the NASCAR hall of fame. If you want to register to vote, enter to do so in the link below; NASCAR.COM Smoke wants Danica Pactrick in the Prelude but Ms. she driver wants fenders. She is on the last year of her contract and has always had eyes on the stock version. She has not exactly lit up the open wheel world, has a temper, and is hot. I think she should stick to being hot and that is not to say because she is a she, I say that because I think driving with bumpers is not her game. You gotta show up in a world of win it now, time to develop cost and really, who has any spare change? |

NASCAR is a lot more than just having a fast car. Danica has no experience with being bump drafted of with 3 and 4 wide racing in the turns. Danica has never rubbed and if you ain't rubbin' you ain't racin'. If former Indy winners like Sam Hornish Jr. and Dario Franchitti are struggling to make the transition Danica has no chance.

Man, oh man. As a fan of Smoke, I'm a happy boy right now. As a fan of plate racing, I loved it! As a fantasy player, I'm miserable...fantasy plate racing is pure luck, and mine is all bad.... team tonight was the two shrubs, jr. and sorenson.

I loved the finish! No secret on here that I'm a Smoke fan, but I also do like watching the Shrub. Shrub got what he asked for blocking like that, that's just plate racing. Can't say I liked watching him wreck, that was some hard licks he took! Smart of the officials to grab him before he got to a camera, boy he was ticked!

Oh, and IMHO, Danica's not even the hottest driver in IndyCar. She's just willing to show more. But Milka Duno is hotter:

I'm sure he would complain; most drivers in that situation would. They'd be wrong. The low block was good, but once Smoke went high and got his fender alongside shrub's quarterpanel, the time for blocking was over. Smoke owned the line, and Kyle was in the wrong.

The end was just great racing, nothing dirty at all. But if it was Busch putting Smoke in the wall, people would be calling for Schrub's head. Dale's up in heaven right know smiling and saying i would have done the same thing.
