I don't know. Maybe I'm just too old school (or maybe just too old ) but I think those unis are hideous. I don't like the white helmets; I don't like messing with the traditional stripes; I hate and despise the white pants (but must admit that the new eye of the Tiger patch is nice: http://www.lsusports.net/PhotoAlbum....ID=&ZID=775064 )

Well, at least it's for a good cause.

BTW, does anybody know how much Nike is f'ing with Tulane's uniforms for this game? I wasn't able to find a pic on the Tulane website.

Two questions and a comment:

1. Will we still have Katrina/Pelican patches commemorative stuff in the year 2100 or is there an end to it at some point?

2. Why is the pelican wearing a blond wig and a tiara? Is it a tranny pelican or something?

The uniforms look like Alcorn St. If we have to wear those ridiculous uniforms then I hope they make Tulane look foolish too.

It may convince him not to let it happen again. This is as bad as the black LSU baseball jerseys and almost as bad as the purple pants fiasco, bith of which are history. Believe me, the Athletic Department tracks comments from season ticket hlders and TAF members and they pay attention. Herb Vincent actually returns my emails.

These helmets are actually pretty awesome. They dont look painted but instead have this opaque translucent appearance. I think they are sharp! The unis suck azz though.

i have the jersey. the jersey by itself with short shorts isn't bad.

but that pelican looks pissed off! of course, all the crap i am having to go through to get my house in nola rebuilt has me pissed off, too, so maybe the pissed off pelican is appropriate.
