AH you beat me to it. Miami of Ohio was, indeed in 1986. That was my first game in Tiger Stadium. My mom and dad went, and my mom was like 8 months pregnant for me

It was 1986 when we lost Miami. We had just beat a top 5, over-hyped, ESPN girlfriend Texas A&M in the first game of that series. It rained.

The 1982 team, which played Nebraska in the 1983 Orange Bowl, lost to Tulane in Tiger Stadium the week after blasting Florida State for the Miami Bid.

Bama losing made the SEC look silly...

When you say Big-12 fans, I assume you mean Oklahoma fans. If that's the case, tell them it's not our fault that they lost to Colorado, who was beaten by Kansas State, who was beaten soundly by Auburn.

If that's not enough, wait till after the Indy Bowl if by some chance Bama ends up beating Colorado... that oughta shut em up.

Stovall was the coach for the Florida State/Orange Bowl "winner" game in 1982. The Florida State year was 1982 and we lost the next week to Tulane.

There is one on the I-20 Ouachita river bridge in front of the civic center (I just drove by it 30 min ago) so Bama will have to drive right by it.
