I hate to see a young life in turmoil but I said a long time ago he needed to go. If he can't see the near future he had in front of him he surely can't be trusted to keep it together any further than next month.

I'm sure we will never hear from LSU exactly why he was let go. I had no problem cheering my heart out for him when he took the field but enough is enough. Let's move on and continue to dominate.

Dude, how long have you been sitting there waiting to pull that one out of the holster? FYI, it's totally out of context and makes absolutely zero sense. You would make better use of your time by showering and dropping about 70 pounds. Oh...TF rules require you to be fully clothed while posting.

Clearly he has Perrilloux's grasp of the English language.

Exactly, and no one ever tested Earl Cambell...both of those guys are 2 I.Q. points lower than a Caveman.

Its done, and unfortunately, this is the right thing to do.
I thought the last time he got into trouble that LM should have parted ways with him. Being the starting QB on the reigning NC means you have to not only meet the standard, but you have to set the standard. RP appearently believed that rules did not apply to him. The tragedy of this isn't LSU football. We've been here a hundred years and will be here 100 more. The tragedy is that this young man was given a chance to live out an opportunity afforeded only the best of the best and he blew it. What a shame and waste Ryan Perriloux is. I pray that this young man will rectify the problems in his life and get himself straightened out. Reminds me of a young man from right here in Florida, Adrian McPherson. All the talent in the world, no responsibility. |

Hmmmm... in hindsight maybe Miles knew what he was doing when he kept Perrilloux out of spring practice, allowing Hatch and Lee to split the reps 50/50.
I think that this just goes with the idea that Miles is an evil mastermind that plays into the public perception of him being slow.

What an idiot. All he had to do was make the minimum GPA and coast to millions of dollars in the NFL, but that proved to be too difficult of a task for him.
I guess he was thrown off the team because he missed some classes adn meetings again? LMAO.

Now is a LOT BETTER time than anytime during the season. RP had many, many chances. He will be playing SWAC ball next year and missing the limelight. That might be exactly what he needs.

File him in the Cecil Collins folder.
An AMAZING talent with the world at his fingertips. I dont know the details but some kids struggle with fame, and sadly in todays college football that is what they are. When I see grown men getting autographs of 18 year old kids or them in video game you are naturally going to have some who cannot handle it. Good luck RP I hope you land on your feet. |

true. on all counts. i find it sad that a young man that also now has a child to support just pissed away his future. but one player does not make a team. this may be a setback, but its not the end of the world. besides, better that it happen now than in the middle of sec play leaving us with no qb with real experience. hatch and lee (and jefferson?) have north texas, troy, and tbd to get experience leading the tigers. as far as im concerned, this is still a "damned strong team"!

Think about this from Hatch and Lee's point of views. Imagine you were 2nd string behind someone who had the talent but not the discipline or character, someone who seem to always be getting his hand slapped with a warning.
They have to see the opportunity they have been given and seize it. |
