Sadly, you may be right, but I don't think so, at least not on a regular basis. Not the ones in programs that win championships! There are obvious lingering psychological effects from repeated marijuana use over a period of time. Weed is illegal for a reason, not because stuffed suits in Washington have an attitude. That being said, possession is a very minor misdemeanor for good reasons also. But this is a discussion for another time & another thread.

The really sad thing is no one is every gonna work with this kid, Im sure he will find some place to play where they will sweep everything up for him and do certain things that will allow him to play, but he willl never learn his lesson.

EITHER WAY I do not think this is the last time RP will have some sort of impact on our lives, because it would not shock me if one day he is also getting our taxes dollars.

I have known about his drug use for about 4 months now so it isn't something he just started and it is not pot. Well maybe a mixture I do not know about him using that but pot was not the main drug. I do know however that we do not have to worry about other players from what I saw and know. He was the only one who would seperate from the group to make nice with the providers.

It doesn't matter what drug was used. RP should have been dropped last year. And it was a distraction for the team whether some want to admit that or not. We'll be better off in the long run with him gone.

nah. it's cool. if you take a guy who averages 22 points, then a guy who averages 14 off a team, you expect them to get swept, not lose in 6.

And had alston been healthy, they would have won the whole series, so it's cool.

It has nothing at all to do with the Rockets losing. I am used to that. I am not a front-runner who is on a team's nuts when they win 22 in a row, then hijack the playoff thread saying how much McGrady and Adelman suck like some people here do, not mentioning names.

I also am not one to be stupid enough to ask "what has rick adelman ever done" when I have never been to 2 NBA Finals and 4-5 Western Conference Finals like osme others here have.

Sounds like a completely different tune than before the series. THe Jazz have that effect. I never thought it was going to be a sweep, it ended where I thought it would. Alston would have helped.
