I agree the Offense needs help, but Im not sure crowton is the one calling all the shots. I dont remember his offense looking like this in the past.
I think miles might be calling too many shots, and this is stopping our offense from building an identity. They dont know who they are becuase they dont have one leader. Im not calling for a firring I just want one person in charge of the offense. SO my question to you is; is this crowtons offense ?

Leslie has his hands in the pie. Trying to prevent what happened last year in giving the young QB too much to handle.

it's Crowton's i've read from BYU and Oregon fans to expect this. balls on fire year one, nobody can stop it, light up the score board then gradually get more and more vanilla while scoring fewer and fewer points. sounds a lot like what's happening now. and Les Miles was on neither of those two schools' staffs while Crowton was.

It's the same offense from Jimbos year with Les.
That tells me something.

1. Les is not allowing Crowton to take complete control. 2. Crowton has gotten so full of himself that he is unwilling to bring his play calling down to a level that is comfortable for Jefferson.

I heard that Crowton ripped out all the mis-direction plays and chapters out of his playbook and left in Chapter One - Running a Vanilla Offense Scheme
That was beyond pathetic play calling. ![]() |

Is it Crowton?
Is it JJ's inexperience? Is it's Miles overcalling? Is it our O'line? I don't know. Do you? Should we fire Crowton, Miles, get rid of JJ, bring in better lineman? A lot of questions. I'm sure the coaches have better answers than us.

Let's give them all another raise and see what happens! LOL' The more they get paid the less they coach.
This side line play calling is not working. The players look to the side line and the coaches are taking too long to signal the play in. We have too much talent to play like this. The coaches manage to take LSU players and the fans out of the game. I knew we were in trouble when Tenn. stomped Georgia. If the coaches don't start playing to win we will only win two more games. |

From Post Conference:
5 plays of 10 yards or more. WOW, LSU had that many? Maybe they happened when I was using the restroom. Miles said Scott avg 4 ydpc and Holliday avg 6 ypdc so he should have handed the ball off more. RS needs to be worked into the offense more according to Miles. Yep, like getting him about 20 snaps a game as QB. It's not the play calling, it's the execution. Bobby Hebert asked him what's up with 1/9 on third down. Miles said we didn't execute. |

If last year was the year of really bad defense and this is the season for really bad offesne... maybe we see a new OC in the offseason.

Les Miles is the head coach. It's Les Miles' team. It's Les Miles offense. Crowton is Les Miles subordinate. It's his job to do what Les Miles instructs him to do. Where does this notion come from that the head coach must allow his OC to do as he pleases?

I think that some just think that some head coaches let there OC do as they please if they trust them.
