these uniforms are the ugliest thing i have ever seen in my life, and my wife made me watch Susan Boyle, and the preview for the movie "Precious". I do dig the ole school tiger on the pants though, however i wouldn't put it on the pants right there.

Honestly, that looks like someone just went and redid the VT one with our colors. Not to mention that Tiger face is not Toonces. I'm betting someones idea of a joke. We won't see what ours look like for a couple weeks probably.

Yep those are it. I want a closer look to see what the side of the pants helmets and jerseys look like. I heard the rumor yesterday that LSU was going with the original old gold helmets from back in the day.

The gator uniforms were leaked also. They have white helmets with all blue uniforms.

They aren't selling anything. Nike is supposed to be provided these for free as a promotional thing for them. We just agreed to do it for one game i think.

all good brotha, i can handle the 1 game thing, as long as its the game that is on TigerVision. Looking at that on HD would kill me, and LSU would be the laughing stock of the entire nation with those ugly ass things.

What i want to know is who at Nike is saying, "Damn Johnson, you have done it again, those look wonderful"

This is a one-time alternate, like the ones worn against Tulane in 2007, done to promote the new Pro Combat uniforms. It's unlikely that we'll ever see them again.

I think they are trying to make a splash with the color schemes right now but what they are really trying to sell is the material, pads, physical feel/design etc. of the uniform.

I mean think about it, how many schools are going to let Nike screw up their traditional color schemes like Oregon did. I could see us moving to the "Combat" series as long as the traditional color scheme remains the same.

I doubt any uniform similar to VT is what we'll see. So far, comparing all of the unis that have been released or leaked, NONE look alike. The only element I've seen on multiple uniforms is the stupid spirograph scribbles on the shoulders for VT, tOSU and TCU.

He is, Nike donates everything to their athletic department for free. Part of the reason they are willing to let everything get screwed up. Saves them a whole lot of money.

The closer I looked at the ones with the old gold, it became more apparent that it was also photshopped. I'm just going to wait on an official statement from Nike or LSU before I start over reacting to all these photoshopped uniforms being circulated.

I personally love this...the helmet actually looks gold rather than yellow. The only thing I would love is to see the helmet be white:



I think UT's all white scheme is sick and the purple really pops on an all white uniform.
